Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.
Meet Delaney Courcelle, president of NeW at the University of Vermont.
What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
Our ice cream social was a great way to get to know new members, socialize, and chat in a low-key setting while enjoying yummy ice cream! During our “Cupcakes & Current Events” night, it was fun talking about what’s been in the news as of late and eating cupcakes…always a good time.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be working full time as an executive assistant for a financial advising firm (Baystate Financial) in Vermont.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Never be afraid to be authentic and never apologize for it.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me a space to make great friends, discuss and digest politics and policy, and a network to get to know other conservative women across the country at retreats!
Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is such a necessity for conservative women on college campuses, especially those universities that lean left and even more so for those that discourage free speech and ideological diversity. A community of like-minded women can make the transition into college an enjoyable one and acts as a space to share freely, socialize, inspire and encourage, and take advantage of professional development opportunities.
The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Delaney. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
