Senior Spotlight: Brooke Myers, NeW at University of South Florida

Congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your work with NeW! We are pleased to spotlight some of our outstanding chapter leaders and members.

Meet Brooke Myers, social media director for NeW at the University of South Florida.

What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
1. NeW at USF’s event with Cabot Phillips, “The Lies of the Left”
2. Painting and Politics
3. NeW at USF’s Sofia Fisher Event
4. Beach Weekend Getaway
5. NeW at USF’s Grace Saldana Event

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be traveling for a little while after graduation, and then will be looking for jobs!

What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
I would say to them to get involved with conservative groups as soon as possible! It can be hard being a new college student, and it seems like no one in classes (including professors) holds your views, but joining NeW or a conservative group shows you that there actually are people on campus who are conservative.

How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has impacted me in so many positive ways. It has given me the opportunity to be on the executive board for the USF chapter, and I have met so many great women and had so much fun while doing it! Being on the executive board has prepared me for my future through hosting events and developing leadership skills.

Why is NeW important to you?
NeW is important to me because it gave me friendships and a place to share my views. Without NeW, I would have felt very alone in my views on campus, and having a space to share my views has been so important to me.

The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) provides premier opportunities for young conservative women like Brooke. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus today!
