Meet Ashley Leal, Secretary of NeW at the University of South Florida.
What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
I loved our chapter’s outing to a local art museum, as well as our online Zoom meetings.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to get into the advertising field.
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Although there are a lot of people who have different beliefs, stand your ground and stick to what you believe in. There’s a wonderful community of women who will support and be there for you through NeW.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
It has helped me feel less alone when it comes to my beliefs at a liberal college.
