Senior Spotlight: Adeline Sandridge, NeW at the University of Virginia

As the academic year is coming to a close, NeW wants to take some time to recognize our members who are graduating this semester to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our organization. This spotlight is highlighting Adeline Sandridge from the University of Virginia.

What was one of your favorite NeW events or campaigns that you participated in?
Gentlemen Showcase – voting and promoting UVA’s nominee! I love celebrating the men in our lives and appreciate all that they do to show that consideration and compassion are still alive and well!

What are your plans after graduation?
I will be moving to Washington, DC in June to start as an Associate with Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS), one of the nation’s leading public policy and strategic communications consulting firms!

What is one thing you have gained from NeW?
I have gained a community of like-minded women, not only there to support me and help me through the general ups and downs of life, but to share friendships and to know that I’m not alone when it comes to my beliefs.

What is one piece of advice you would give to conservative women starting college?
Find your people early! There are so many great communities of conservative women on your campus, whether in NeW, College Republicans, your classes, or other organizations! Make friends and start forming connections, as these people turn into lifelong friends!

The Network of enlightened Women provides amazing opportunities for young Conservative females. Learn how to bring a Chapter of NeW to your campus here and help others learn about what NeW stands for!
