NeW at the University of Mississippi held an interest meeting as the chapter’s first event of the school year on September 9, 2021.

Seven chapter members gathered for the on-campus meeting and met with other women interested in joining NeW. The members went through a slideshow with pictures of events from last semester and this summer’s Leadership Retreat. They also talked about NeW’s mission and what the chapter hopes to accomplish this year. Attendees were able to enjoy cookies and take home NeW swag including stickers and buttons.

“My first experience with NeW at the interest meeting was great! I loved learning about NeW’s values and getting to see what NeW wants to accomplish,” attendee Carlye Washington said after the event.
