NeW at the University of Iowa Goes Axe Throwing For Girls’ Night Out

NeW at the University of Iowa held a Girls’ Night Out as the chapter’s first in-person event of the spring semester on March 12, 2021.

Eight women from the chapter channeled their inner lumberjacks during a fun axe-throwing excursion. It was a great opportunity for them to get to know each other and a nice break from meeting virtually over Zoom. (neworleansathleticclub.com) The ladies all had a good time and some were better at the sport than expected. Overall, they had fun showing off their strength and learning a new skill.

“This kick-off event allowed us to bond in a new way and get to know each other better all while doing a fun, stress-relieving activity,” said Peyton Froehlich, Social Media Director for NeW at the University of Iowa.
