NeW at Grand Canyon University Learns Personal Branding and Style Dos and Don’ts

NeW at Grand Canyon University kicked off their first chapter event on March 3, 2021 with some personal branding and style advice from Leah Nalepa (Whetstone), Manager of Professional Development and owner of District Style, a wardrobe consultation service that aims to develop individuals’ personal style.

They promoted the event through direct messages on social media, text messages, and posters hung around campus. Eleven women attended the virtual meeting and found Nalepa’s tips very insightful and thought the event was a hit.

“This event was very impactful. I really have been struggling with my style lately and have not been feeling good in my own skin. Leah really helped give me a guideline of how to pull together an outfit that is really going to stand out to others in a good and memorable way. I implemented what she told us the next day and felt way better about myself!” said Callista Mendoza, chapter president.
