NeW at Boston College Hosts Fun Speaker Event with ‘The Bachelor’s’ Madison Prewett

NeW at Boston College welcomed Madison Prewett, runner-up on the 24th season of “The Bachelor,” to an on-campus speaker event on March 22, 2022.

The 100 attendees loved hearing from Prewett, with some members of the audience being overheard saying it was the “best event” they had attended at the university thus far.

I can learn only so much in the classroom. From start to finish, putting on my first speaking event hosting Madi Prewett at Boston College was a learning experience I hope I never forget. Our efficient and effective board had the opportunity to work closely with university offices, contracts, merchandise, ticket revenues, digital and physical promotion, and — at the end of the day — real people. We have grown as a student organization: in numbers (by over 50%) and in confidence and capability,” Emma Foley, Chapter President, said. “I could not have had this opportunity without the Network of enlightened Women (NeW). True women’s empowerment is saying, ‘Yes, you can.’ NeW’s faith in our team and giving us the resources to take the reins has been phenomenal.”
