A sophomore at the University of Florida, Ivan Yim clearly models the character of a rare gentleman. He is deserving of the 2014 Gentlemen’s Showcase award for his honorable demeanor and the way he cultivates his personal values through his campus involvements. As a Dance Marathon Operations team captain, Ivan not only believed in the mission of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, but freely supplied his time and support to encourage a healthier future for suffering children. This Kappa Sigma brother engages his close friends with the Gospel and meets weekly with a Bible Study through his ministry, Navigators. When he’s not juggling extracurricular activities and a high GPA, Ivan pursues other passions like playing his guitar and creating art pieces. He is currently preparing to perform on his guitar for Unite Now, an event that encompasses Christian worship on campus for students.
