According to Merriam-Webster’s definition, a “gentleman” is “a man whose conduct conforms to a high standard of propriety or correct behavior.” Anthony Gonzalez meets this definition and more than exceeds it. He is always kind, whether he knows you well or not, and is such a welcoming person. To put down examples of his kindness would take more than a book’s worth. He cares deeply for the American government and shares his beliefs in a mature, courteous and passionate way. His desire to go into law is evident through his extensive knowledge and passion on the Supreme Court, cases from every decade, and intensive dedication to bettering himself. Anthony is the Vice President of College Republicans on our campus and is such a pleasure to work with. Though he himself is an extremely humble man, his intelligence, his honest compassion towards everyone, and his willingness to be a helping hand never ceases to amaze, enlighten, and inspire those around him. Anthony is not only a true gentleman– he is an amazing friend, colleague, and conservative.
