After a month of voting during our Gentlemen’s Showcase, we have a winner. NeW is pleased to announce that Alfonse Muglia from Cornell University is our NeW Gentleman of the Year!

Alfonse is a junior and the Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Review, a conservative newspaper at Cornell. He helped found the Campus Liberty Project, aimed at representing students’ fundamental rights in the classroom. In his nomination, the ladies of Cornell wrote that Alfonse

is a gentleman who values the unique perspective of conservative women on campus, and has helped share this with the Cornell community.

He regularly features articles in the Cornell Review written by and about NeW women, and is a strong advocate for their work.

Alfonse was selected from a strong list of candidates this year, with nominees from schools across the country, including the University of Virginia, the University of Florida, the University of Akron, and Kent State University.

Thanks to all who participated in the NeW Gentlemen’s Showcase!
