Alexis Flowers

Director of Programs

Alexis Flowers serves as the Director of Programs for the Network of enlightened Women. She is a graduate of Florida State University (Go ‘Noles!) with her bachelor’s degree in Risk Management/Insurance and Economics.

Before joining NeW, she was a Development Officer at Step Up For Students, a non-profit scholarship funding organization that manages the largest private school choice program in the country, the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. Prior to that, she worked on the policy team at the Foundation for Excellence in Education, an organization created by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with the mission of advancing student-centered education systems across the country.

Alexis’ passion for conservatism began with a college internship at the James Madison Institute in Tallahassee, Florida. Researching policy papers and watching legislative committee meetings gave her a glimpse into the state political process and ignited an enthusiasm for conservative principles.

Alexis currently serves on the Governance Board for the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin near Tampa, Florida and is active in the children’s ministry at her local church. She enjoys listening to podcasts, spending time outside with her rescue dogs Charlotte and Chloe, and traveling around the world with her husband.
