Alexis Flowers serves as the Vice President of Programs for the Network of enlightened Women. She is a graduate of Florida State University (Go ‘Noles!) with her bachelor’s degree in Risk Management/Insurance and Economics.
Before joining NeW, she was a Development Officer at Step Up For Students, a non-profit scholarship funding organization that manages the largest private school choice program in the country, the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. Prior to that, she worked on the policy team at the Foundation for Excellence in Education, an organization created by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush with the mission of advancing student-centered education systems across the country.
Alexis’ passion for conservatism began with a college internship at the James Madison Institute in Tallahassee, Florida. Researching policy papers and watching legislative committee meetings gave her a glimpse into the state political process and ignited an enthusiasm for conservative principles.
Alexis currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and their two rescue dogs. She enjoys reading, drinking iced coffee, and exploring new parks with her toddler.
