Alyssa DaCunha leads the crisis management and congressional investigations practice groups at a major international law firm. In that capacity she counsels companies, boards, and individuals facing complex regulatory, legal and policy issues, often in the glare of the media spotlight. She has prepared dozens of CEOs and corporate executives to testify before Congress, and has counseled many more on strategies for responding to congressional inquiries.
DaCunha’s commentary on political and congressional topics has appeared in The New York Times, Law360, Reuters, Bloomberg, The Hill, and the American Law Journal. She has served as volunteer legal counsel to two presidential campaigns and is on the board of several civic organizations in her community. She is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and previously served as a National Review fellow and an American Council on Germany Young Leader.
DaCunha lives outside of Washington, DC with her husband and three children. She and her husband are foster parents and enjoy welcoming children to the joyful chaos of their home.
