Meet Sarah Louise Pickett, member of NeW at the University of Florida.
What were some of your favorite events that you participated in with NeW?
NeW Brunch before Election Day and NeW Ice Cream Social at Sweetberries.
What are your plans after graduation?
The plan is to work part-time and continue with my YouTube Channel while pursuing graduate school!
What advice would you give to a conservative woman starting college?
Be consistent in your faith in your views and don’t let anyone compromise them.
How has NeW impacted you and prepared you for your next steps?
NeW has given me a voice. I’m not afraid to stand up for what I believe in as a conservative. I don’t think I’ll ever come out with my views publicly as an influencer. But, I certainly have the courage now to get involved in my community as a conservative.
Why is NeW important to you?
NeW offered me a group of women who embrace the same values that I do. It was a chance to speak about something that I have never been able to speak about throughout my college experience.
