WOMEN’S ORGANIZATION HOSTS BOOK CLUB WASHINGTON, DC — The Network of enlightened Women, known as NeW, is proud to announce the NeW Spring Book Club book choice is Everything Will Be Okay: Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman) by Dana Perino, Fox News Anchor and former White House Press Secretary. As the first Republican woman to be named White House Press Secretary and a familiar face on national news, Perino is an inspiration to young women. Her book comes out March 9, so this is a chance for young women to get great advice before the book even hits shelves. NeW seeks to educate, equip, and empower young conservative women through book clubs, policy discussions, professional development events, and a national conference. Leading up to the book club, Perino shared, “Young women today face immense pressure to live up to unrealistic expectations in their careers, relationships, and everyday lives, leading to early burnout. Groups like the Network of enlightened Women are vitally important in educating these women on conservative values and preparing them with the tools and resources they need to be successful in their careers and personal lives. I wish NeW had been around when I was a young woman in college and early in my career.” “We are thrilled to introduce the women of the NeW Network to the inspiring life and accomplishments of Dana Perino. NeW continues to introduce young conservative women to prominent leaders. NeW believes in providing women with the tools they need to be successful not only in college, but as they start their careers,” said Karin Lips, Founder and President of NeW. Past NeW Book Club authors have included Senator Joni Ernst, Senator Marsha Blackburn, Allie Stuckey, Heidi Ganahl, and Carrie Severino. For media interested in attending the off-the-record NeW Spring Book Club meeting with Dana Perino on Tuesday, March 2 at 7:30pm EST, please contact Kathryn Alford at kathryn@enlightenedwomen.org or 571-310-5388. ### The Network of Enlightened Women educates, equips, and empowers women to be principled leaders for a free society. |
