On Saturday, April 7, GW NeW headed out to the DC Cherry Blossom Festival to experience peak bloom and take LinkedIn Headshots. For the second year in a row, we hosted the free headshot event for conservative ladies at GW to spruce up their LinkedIn profiles just in time for summer internships. The headshot portion of the event is followed by brunch where members can enjoy the company of other enlightened women.

Our headshot event is one of my favorites of the year. I am passionate about photography and I always take the headshots for our members. I enjoy the opportunity to help conservative college women feel empowered and nothing gives girls a boost of confidence like a great photo.

Being a member of NeW for the best few years has contributed immensely to my professional development and helped me hone my career goals. I love NeW because it’s not just another conservative college organization, but rather it helps prepare young women for the professional world while also creating lasting friendships with other enlightened women.

GW NeW’s free headshot event encompasses everything I’ve loved about NeW for the past few years. I am able to have a great time with women who share the same values and beliefs as me while also striving for professional success.
