A new book entitled Womenomics:  Write Your Own Rules for Success has hit shelves providing a different perspective on women and the workplace from the ordinary “career OR family.”  Journalists, Claire Shipman and Katty Kay, argue women can have both.  Due to the increasing value women add to the business world, Shipman and Kay argue, they have more leverage and felxibility to get what they want.  And the book isn’t just their opinions–in fact they compile multiple anecdotes from professional women offering a wide range of personal views and choices.
