I am a conservative because I am convinced that individuals have the capacity to be far more critical and creative than government could ever be. When I started college, I did not know that I was a conservative. However, after taking a critical look at government and the failed public policies of the liberal agenda, I became sure that I was a conservative.

Theoretically speaking, I’m a conservative because the way I view policies is through the lens of the individual. I judge policies based on their impact on each individual human being. Most importantly, I am a conservative because I am a passionate and romantic believer in the American Dream, and I believe that the principles which made the United States an exceptional nation are the same principles which will continue to promote democracy and human thriving.
