Growing up, I was not raised with any knowledge of politics. Then, when I got to high school and I finally learned about the ins and outs, I formulated liberal political opinions based on what my friends thought and on a very limited understanding. I became so passionate about politics that I decided to study it in college. That is the moment that everything changed for me politically.

With more and more education on the issues, I suddenly realized all of those thoughts I had in high school were no longer how I felt.  I realized I was conservative. That word scared me in the moment because I had never classified myself that way before and because there is so much liberal bias on college campuses I wasn’t sure how I was going to express myself politically. Thankfully, I found other women just like me.. Those women are the reason that I am so passionate about the conservative movement. I want millennials everywhere to know that it is great to be conservative and that you should always express your opinions.
