Why I am a NeW Woman

May 11, 2010 | NeW Staff

I am a NeW woman because I believe that knowledge is power.

I believe that studying women’s history and how women are today will allow all women to become more open-minded towards one another, regardless of whether they share the same views.

I am a NeW woman because I believe that women should not be judged for their choice of family and/or career. We all have God-given talents and women should not be criticized for choosing one, the other, or both.

I believe that women should not be forced into a mold by either side of the aisle– there is no such thing as an ideal woman – you should be who you want to be.

I am a NeW woman because I believe in a cause greater than myself – finding the piece that unites all women, despite our political differences, and I believe that enlightening ourselves is the way to do that.

Through Network of enlightened Women and the knowledge we gain from it, women can find the missing piece to unify us all.
