We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail

September 11, 2009 | NeW Staff

This morning, September 11, 2009, the University of Virginia, along with many other Universities, took part in the 9/11 Never Forget Project. As a Virginian, the attack on Arlington on September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten. The parents of many of my friends worked in the Pentagon and I will never forget the the impact that day had on my community. It is such a humbling experience to see the flags in our amphitheatre and remember that each flag represents the life of an innocent person. May we never let a day pass without remembering these patriots and may we never forget that our Stars and Stripes proudly wave for freedom that has not come without great sacrifice.

God Bless America!
