February marks the busy season for NeW. There are lots of events and ways to be involved with NeW in the next few weeks!
Next week, NeW will be at the Conservative Political Action Conference (or CPAC) in Washington, DC. If you are going, leave a note in the comments. We would love to see you there! On Friday, February 10 at 8pm, NeW will be hosting the Annual NeW Dessert Party in Washington, DC. Please email Sarah Davis if you would like more information on this event. Visit the events section of our website to see pictures from previous Dessert Parties.
In one month, the NeW Gentlemen’s Showcase will begin. This is our annual contest to celebrate chivalrous men on campus and to find the NeW Gentleman of the Year. Both nominated gentlemen and voting can be found on the NeW Facebook page. The event starts March 1, but it is never too early to start thinking about who you would like to nominate! Visit our Gentlemen’s Showcase page to learn more.
Our Online Book Club stated this past Monday with a look at the introduction of The Flip Side of Feminism: What Conservative Women Know – and Men Can’t Say by Suzanne Venker and Phyllis Schlafly. You can read the first post here. If you haven’t picked up your copy, it’s not too late! Start reading and join the conversation.
As you can see, there is a lot happening with NeW these days. Make sure you stay caught up with everything we are doing! Follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and sign up for our NeWsletter. If you have any questions or ideas, please leave them in the comment section below!
