Who is in the lead? Currently, Ivan from the University of Florida, with 148 votes. David from Florida State and Logan from Virginia Tech are giving him some competition. It’s still anyone’s contest at this point!
Here are a few quotes from the nominations:
“A sophomore at the University of Florida, Ivan Yim clearly models the character of a rare gentleman. He is deserving of the 2014 Gentlemen’s Showcase award for his honorable demeanor and the way he cultivates his personal values through his campus involvements.”
“The ladies of NeW at Florida State University believe that they have been able to find of one these rare modern gentlemen… David spends his days at Florida State University working towards a degree in International Relations, but in his free time, David, who is only a junior, has dedicated his life to a cause that the NeW at FSU ladies feel make him the embodiment of what NeW is looking for in a Gentleman of the Year. David has become a crusader for women; he has committed himself to raising awareness for human-trafficking, helping victims and, ultimately, ending modern-day slavery. He is founder and president of “Freedom at FSU”, a group he started to achieve his goal of a world without human sex trafficking.”
