Thinking About Participating in Enlightened Etiquette?

October 8, 2010 | NeW Staff

What kind of lady will you choose to be?

“Life be not so short but that there is always time for courtesy.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ever wonder what fork to use?  Or what you should wear to a black tie event?

Then you should consider holding an Enlightened Etiquette Event!

One of your fellow NeW Leaders, Rachel, has put together a description of a new NeW event that the University of Kentucky Chapter of NeW will be holding this fall called Enlightened Etiquette.  It is a great counterpart to our Gentlemen’s Showcase spring event.  Let’s show those gentleman just how ladylike we can be!

NeW chapters are hosting Enlightened Etiquette events, in which chapters bring an etiquette coach to their school to answer popular questions about proper manners.  By enhancing your etiquette knowledge, you will learn skills that will serve you well in the work place, at home, school and in everyday life. We suggest looking into your school’s extracurricular funding options, or discuss fundraising opportunities within your chapter.  Not only will this be a fun, informative event, but Enlightened Etiquette will help to spread the word about NeW at your school!

Take this quick quiz to find out how etiquette savvy you are!

Email [email protected] if your chapter would like to participate!
