The Next Event for NeW in DC

September 30, 2011 | Sarah

This past Monday, NeW in DC held their inaugural event for women interested in being involved with NeW in a young professional setting. Women from various jobs and stages of life attended to meet other women and offer their ideas and expertise to launching this new initiative. It was a good night!

Now NeW in DC is ready to launch its first official meeting. On October 24, women interested in being a part of NeW in DC will be meeting to discuss the book Manning Up: How the Rise of Women has Turned Men into Boys by Kay Hymowitz. Location and time will be announced closer to the date, but mark your calendars and pick up your copy today!

In addition, this book is being covered in our weekly Online Book Club discussions as well, so as you read, please feel free to contribute to the conversation online as well.
