The Healthcare Calculator

March 30, 2010 | NeW Staff

With all the talk of how the new healthcare bill will affect our economy, I thought I would share a link to a “healthcare law calculator” made by The Washington Post. It is an easy way for everyone including mothers, fathers, married couples, single people, and youths to get some answers.

The Healthcare Calculator

It is definitely useful to get an outline of how you are affected, but keep in mind that this calculator does not include factors such as student loans for school, the line of work you do, or most importantly, what your health problems are.

I am urging all of you to do some research to find out how the bill will specifically affect you. I think it’s important for families and individuals alike to find out what’s inside this bill. Look at this calculator as a baby step in discovering what the government is giving you and what the government is taking away from you.
