The Gentlemen’s Showcase Starts Tomorrow!

February 29, 2012 | Sarah

Every year, the Network of enlightened Women (NeW) hosts the Gentlemen’s Showcase, a month-long celebration of chivalry, gentlemanly behavior and mutual respect between the sexes. Throughout March, there will be blog posts and other references to gentlemanly acts on campuses and in the media.

We also host a contest on our Facebook page to find the NeW Gentleman of the Year. Women nominate a college-aged man that exemplifies what it means to be a gentleman, and the nation votes by clicking “like” for their favorite gentleman. The contest starts tomorrow and runs throughout the month of March. The winner will be announced on April 1. For more information, visit our Gentlemen’s Showcase page.

With such an exciting event, make sure you are following NeW on Twitter and Facebook, and signed up for our NeWsletter. Check back here often for updates on the Gentlemen’s Showcase.

Who in your life exemplifies gentlemanly behavior? Let us know in the comments (or if he’s in college, nominate him tomorrow!).
