Situation for U.S. Women not so Awful

Serena Williams won her third U.S. Open title.

Britney Spears won a few Video Music Awards.

Sarah Palin has won McCain an increase in support.

The liberation of women in the U.S. is even further demonstrated to me because as I write this, the two (female) news anchors on CNN are announcing this story.
