Obama’s First Supreme Court Nominee

Let the gaming begin! After President Obama’s nomination of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, conservatives and liberals have already begun taking sides and campaigning the Senate prepares to examine her. Sotomayor would be only third woman to serve on the Supreme Court and the first Hispanic. Conservatives claim Sotomayor is a judicial activist, legislating from the bench, while liberals are singing her praises.
