NOW ACCEPTING SPRING INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS

Are you a college student looking for an internship opportunity? Want to be part of a growing national movement? Then apply today to NeW’s Spring internship!

The Network of enlightened Women is looking for talented women to be student interns for the Spring 2014 semester. Through the NeW Internship Program, participants work closely with the Director of Programs to grow NeW’s presence across the country, on college campuses and online.

Specific intern responsibilities are assigned based on experience and interest. Core areas consist of Special Events, Journalism, Graphic Design, Development, and Research Assistant.

Sample intern responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to NeW’s social media, including weekly posts to the NeW blog;
  • Creating promotional materials for NeW;
  • Working with the media, drafting press releases and seeking press to cover NeW;
  • Directing contributing to the success of NeW’s national events including CPAC, the annual Gentlemen’s Showcase and National Conference hosted in Washington, DC;
  • And more!

Spring 2014 Dates

Monday, January 13-Friday, April 25, 2014

TO APPLY, please send 1) an updated resume and 2) a description of what inspired you to apply to NeW, what skills you already have and what you hope to gain from working with NeW (no more than 800 words) to [email protected].

*Part-time and full-time positions available, schedule determined on a case by case basis.

**NeW internships are unpaid but can be used for college credit (you will need to inquire into the requirements of your specific university).

***NeW internships can be done remotely from any university.
