NeW’s Sixth Annual National Conference is Tomorrow!

June 23, 2011 | Sarah

It is finally here! Our Sixth Annual National Conference is tomorrow, starting at 10:00am. We kick off the event tonight with a Night to Network Reception. Registration is currently closed. Both promise to be educational, enlightening and fun events.

We have another quote from keynote speaker Kate O’Beirne’s book Women Who Make the World Worse. Let us know what you think!

What Christina Hoff Sommers did in sounding the alarm about the harm hostile feministsare doing to American boys, James Tooley did on behalf of British girls, who are being hurt by the same misguided campaign of sexual sameness. In The Miseducation of Women, Tooley notes that he is tackling the effects of a most unwelcome American export: “ It’ s clear that where American feminism has led, the rest of the world has followed.” Owing to the legal regime in both the U.S. and Britain, he explains, “ A girl must be informed through all channels that her wishes and desires for her future life must be the same as a boy’ s.”

I am looking forward to seeing you tonight!
