NeW Trip to Virginia

October 12, 2009 | NeW Staff

This past weekend, I had the great privilege to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia, the birthplace of NeW. Karin Agness also made the trip to her alma mater.  We were fortunate to get to meet some of the fabulous women from the NeW chapter at UVA, now in its fifth year of existence.  A special thanks to Caroline and Loren, current President and Vice President, for welcoming us so warmly.

The women at UVA have big plans for the coming semester. They continue to read The Good Girl Revolution by Wendy Shalit on a bi-weekly basis and are welcoming many new members to their group. They are planning to host female conservative speakers, show documentaries, and influence the current discourse on their campus.  Congratulations, ladies, on the success you’ve already had and good luck with your coming events!
