Our first senior is Caroline Rushing. Caroline will be graduating from from the University of Virginia. She served as the President and Vice President of Events at the University of Virginia NeW Chapter. Caroline got involved with NeW during her sophomore year and will be greatly missed.
Joining NeW ignited my passion for conservative ideas and turned me into an activist at the University. Being a member and leader in NeW led me to pursue an internship at the Clare Boothe Policy Institute where I learned more about the conservative women’s movement, and how to be a more effective activist at UVA. After my internship at CBLPI, I became an intern at Young America’s Foundation, which solidified my desire to pursue a career after graduation within the Conservative Movement. NeW created a great network of likeminded women who have also become dear friends over the years. I am so appreciative for the impact that NeW has had on my time at the University of Virginia.
Caroline is excited for graduation and her job that will take her all the way to California!
Congratulations Caroline! We appreciate your dedication to NeW and everything you have done for the chapter at the University of Virginia!
