NeW at UVA Cosponsors Author of Unprotected

NeW at UVA is cosponsoring a lecture by Dr. Miriam Grossman on Wednesday, Nov. 5th at 5pm.  The event is open to the public.

Dr. Grossman, a UCLA college psychiatrist for over 10 years and author of Unprotected: A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student, will be giving a speech entitled, “Sex, Lies and Hook-Ups: A Campus Psychiatrist Tells It Like It Is.”  The lecture will be held in Maury Hall Auditorium.

Her lecture will include the following topics:
(1) The biochemistry of attachment: How oxytocin and pheromones powerfully affect your heart and mind
(2) The immature cervix: Science that can help you prevent cancer
(3) Misconceptions about fertility: Information that’s relevant to you
(4) HPV and herpes: Did you know you can have an STD and not know it?
