How to Kneecap College Sports

Jessica Custer, NeW’s North Carolina Chair, recently had an article published on Civitas Institute online. Custer described the problems in North Carolina with Title IX and specifically with Title IX’s Policy Interpretation in 1979.  Here’s a brief excerpt from Jessica’s piece:


“Misinterpretations of Title IX not only lead to additional expenses for universities who are trying to meet limited budget demands but also place unnecessary burdens on schools to match male/female ratios. By advocating gender quotas, Title IX only serves to stifle interest-driven athletic programs.”
