Has Feminism Failed Women? NeW Event at ASU

December 3, 2009 | NeW Staff

On November 17th, the NeW women at Arizona State hosted Angela “Bay” Buchanan to answer the question: “Has Feminism Failed Women?”  Bay held a lively discussion on marriage, the military, the hook-up culture, and careers and how feminism has negatively affected these areas in our culture.  She described the ways in which modern feminism has strayed today and offered ways that culturally conservative women can promote a different voice.  The highlight, according to the NeW leaders at ASU, was listening to Ms. Buchanan take questions at the end and how she took on challengers.  Congratulations, ASU, on such a successful event with such a fabulous speaker!
