Chapter Leader Spotlight: Kristyn Morse

February 22, 2017 | NeW

Welcome Kristyn Morse from Murray University! Kristyn started a Chapter on her campus in January. Please read her spotlight to welcome her.
How did you hear about NeW?
I heard about the Network of Enlightened Women through Stephanie, Campus Programs Associate at NeW, after working on the Rand campaign in the state of Kentucky with her.
Why is NeW important?
Most of the conservatives on our campus don’t express their beliefs and it is important to show female conservatives are there as well.
What is the most important conservative issue in your opinion?
The most important conservative issue is the lowering of taxes. It is of personal importance to me seeing the effect on communities in many different types of areas of the country. I personally believe it could solve some of the economic hardships facing the country as well.
If you could offer advice to college students, what would it be?
To college students today, I would say to stand up for what they believe in and speak up on campus. With most campuses being very left, it is important to show that the conservative population is there in the student body as well.
