Chapter 2: Lynching the GOP

“I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself.”
Susan B Anthony

We are now a nation that makes war on ideas.

There’s a war on terror, a war on drugs, even a war on women. So, who are we fighting? Who is the enemy? Where is this war taking place?

For the past few decades, the left would have Americans believe that conservatives are waging an ideological war against the female race. In reality, it is the LEFT that has taken up arms against the successful, hard-working women of America. The TRUE war is making women feel as though their rights are dependent upon a certain political party or agenda – namely the left. And they have committed to destroying the reputation of all who may crack a hole in the shallow foundation they’ve build against us.

It’s time we fought back against the toxic falsities of the left. History is our weapon.

It was the right that made possible the passage of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote. It was the right that initiated the anti discrimination laws of the 1960s. The trailblazing role of the right in the nation’s history with concern to civil rights has been all but erased and rewritten by leftists who champion people like FDR, who opposed many of the civil rights efforts made by the right. For example, the big-government promises to minorities made by the New Deal OPPOSED anti-lynching legislation and poll tax laws. The New Deal is championed by the left today. And the 19th Amendment: voted down four times by the left in the senate within a decade.

Woodrow Wilson, a so-called defender of civil rights, stated that universal suffrage lay “at the foundation of every evil in this country.” Does that sound pro-woman to you?

Later in history, the he would use suffrage as a pawn to secure a second term as president.

Let’s take a more modern example. The “Life of Julia” is a visible assurance to women that the welfare state is meant to fuel and serve the successes of American women… IF they support the left.

The “naked political calculation” of the left is not true philanthropy. The left carves out certain demographics for their own political gain, not out of genuine concern for the rights of women and minorities. Pavlich states:

“This is not about women’s rights. It’s about political power and agenda of the Left, and how a radical feminist movement can conveniently fit into that power grab.”

Never underestimate the power of facts.

Discussion Questions:
1. What other moments in history have been hijacked by the left and used to their benefit?
2. How do we, as conservative women, fight back against the warring accusations of the left?
