Anniversary Countdown: Mara at BU

What is your involvement with NeW?

I am founder of NeW’s Boston University chapter.

Why is NeW important to you?

NeW is important to me because I enrolled in college for, among many other reasons, an opportunity to examine my own beliefs and explore certain academic areas of interest. NeW is an extension of that. It is a pressure-free environment for collegiate women to learn more about feminism and conservatism.

How are you celebrating the anniversary?

NeW at BU will be hosting a cupcake reception on the evening of September 29th. We will talk about our current read, Liberty is No War on Women, and eat yummy Crumbs cupcakes!
