4/07 NeW Founder, Karin Agness, delivered a speech about the past, present and future of NeW at the Miller Center of Public Affairs.

3/07 NeW at UVA hosted a debate entitled Are We Getting it Right? The State of Women and Gender Studies Departments.  This was a part of ISI's Cicero's Podium Debate Series.  The event was a huge success!  Over 200 people came out to listen!  See the pictures below of the debate.  Picture 1: Debate panel. 2/07 NeW at TCC collected books throughout the fall semester and just wrapped up the last of the books for delivery.  They donated the books to a Big Brother Big Sister house in February.
