The Heritage Foundation’s summer internship application deadline is quickly approaching! As a former Heritage intern myself, I can attest to the high caliber of the program. Heritage interns get to attend all sorts of conservative conferences and events for free during their internship, including NeW’s National Conference which The Heritage Foundation hosts every summer. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity. Read their description below for more details!

The Heritage Foundation’s summer internship deadline is fast approaching! The Heritage Foundation internship program attracts young conservative leaders of the highest caliber. We train, equip, and develop tomorrow’s young conservative leaders during their time at Heritage. Our paid interns are given substantive work, acquire policy expertise, and build 2 marketable skills. Applicants should demonstrate strong research and writing ability, as well as excellent communication skills and an inquisitiveness to undertake various research, writing, administrative, and computer projects. All interns are paid at the rate of $7.25 per hour. The internship begins June 2nd and ends August 8th. There will be approximately 70 positions in various fields – including foreign and domestic policy, external relations, development, digital media and graphic design. In addition to the online application, potential interns need to mail an official transcript directly from their university and two letters of recommendation from college professors or employers to The Heritage Foundation. Please visit www.heritage.org/internships for more information on positions and application instructions. The application deadline is February 1, 2014.
