Gentlemen’s Showcase Makes the Headlines

Today, NeW's Gentlemen's Showcase is getting press!  NeW Founder Karin Agness's op-ed highlighting the Gentlemen's Showcase was published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch.  The column highlights NeW's national quest for honorable campus gentlemen and the different forms of competition taking shape across the country, including "March Madness: Gentlemen's Edition" at the University of Virginia.

Here's an excerpt from the op-ed:

"There are still gentlemen on college campuses. And with a little encouragement, there will be more. Instead of trying to change men on campus, we should seek to bring out the best in them. And this lesson applies to women as well. The pop culture battles between the sexes remain. The success of this event, however, gives me hope that we are coming to terms with our sex differences, which will lead to better relations between the sexes in the future."

Congratulations to the NeW women across the country who are making a difference on their campuses by promoting mutual respect and challenging cultural norms.  This column highlights your efforts!

Continue to visit NeW's Fan Page to vote for your favorite gentlemen.  The competition is just heating up, but don't wait, voting ends at midnight on Tuesday, March 30!
